Unsung Hero LIVE: A Night of Music, Connection, and Purpose

Nov 10, 2025

It was an awesome night of music, storytelling, and connection in support of our nation’s veterans and their families. Presented by Prologis, the inaugural Unsung Hero LIVE was everything we could have hoped for and more: an unforgettable evening celebrating the power of music to unite and inspire.

From moving original songs to heartfelt stories of service, this Veterans Day weekend event honored those who’ve worn the uniform and Camp Southern Ground’s mission to honor and empower those who serve.

Highlights include powerful performances from our veteran and military-affiliated artists Shannon Book, Rachel Harvey Hill, and Andrew Wiscombe, alongside songwriting legends Tim Huffman, Tim Nichols, and Doug Johnson, and an unforgettable set by the effortlessly cool David Ryan Harris.

Zac Brown Band’s Danny de los Reyes joined our veterans on stage before backing up special guest Dani Rose, and long-time Camp Southern Ground friend Coy Bowles shared his story of being part of Zac’s vision “before the beginning” and how that vision became the Camp we know today.

Hosted by Tug Cowart of 680 The Fan and the Atlanta Braves Radio Network, the event was filled with laughter, emotion, and moments that reminded everyone in attendance why this mission matters.

All proceeds from Unsung Hero LIVE directly benefit Camp Southern Ground’s Warrior Programs, all of which are offered at no cost to veterans and their families.

We’re grateful to our sponsors, everyone who attended in person or tuned in online, those who purchased shirts, donated, and shared their support and, of course, to the incredible performers who brought their talent, stories, and heart to the stage in support of our mission.

Stay tuned for a 2026 date! In the meantime, you can still catch the livestream for a limited time!
