Warrior Song Brings Veteran Artists Together for a Powerful Fourth Year

Camp Southern Ground wrapped its 4th annual Warrior Song over Veterans Day weekend, and we’re still riding the momentum. This one-of-a-kind program brought together a talented group of veteran singer-songwriters for four days of growth, collaboration, and connection. Participants dove into intensive songwriting sessions, learned from award-winning industry professionals, and pushed their creative skills to new heights.

The weekend reached another level when Zac Brown stopped by to spend time with our Warrior Song cohort – sharing stories, industry insight, and deep gratitude for their service. Camp Southern Ground was founded on Zac’s commitment to serve those who serve us, and Warrior Song is one more way that mission continues to come to life.

Warrior Song isn’t music therapy; it’s a music-industry boot camp built specifically for veterans pursuing careers as professional artists. Over four days, Warriors live, eat, write, play, and create together, forming a unique community with others who understand their experiences. Many alumni have gone on to co-write and record songs born right here at camp.
