Camp Director

Camp Southern Ground is seeking a passionate, innovative, and mission-driven Camp Director to lead and elevate our youth and family programming. The Camp Director will work closely with the Chief Program Officer and executive team to ensure the continued growth and development of our programs, taking a data-driven approach to improve existing offerings and introduce new initiatives. This leader will oversee all camp staff, drive strategic planning, and collaborate with teams across camp, with a strong focus on program quality and outcomes.

Key responsibilities include managing and inspiring camp teams, setting and tracking annual goals, collecting stakeholder feedback, and collaborating on long-term vision development. The Camp Director will be a spokesperson for our mission, sharing success stories and contributing to our community’s growth.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of program management and 8+ years of supervisory experience
  • Experience in children’s overnight camps, family camps, and special needs programming
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred
