Amber Ferguson
Amber joined the Camp Southern Ground family as a summer staff member in 2019 and became a full-time staff member in September 2019. She has over 10 years of experience in working with and serving individuals with disabilities. During the year, Amber is responsible for the evaluation of neurodiverse campers. This includes communication with families, teachers, and community partners. Throughout the year, she works towards creating events and resources for the surrounding neurodiverse community. Camp Southern Ground gives her the opportunity to combine her passion for individuals with disabilities, as well as serving others.
Amber grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina and graduated Western North Carolina University with a major in Recreational Therapy. She now lives in Atlanta and enjoys being active in the community with her friends and family.
