Warrior PATHH program manager

Job Description

The Warrior PATHH Program Manager plays a critical role in delivering the Warrior PATHH experience from initial applicant contact through program completion. Reporting to the PATHH Program Director, the Program Manager serves as a primary point of contact for participants, supports recruitment and enrollment efforts, facilitates Warrior PATHH programs as a PATHH Guide, and provides ongoing engagement throughout the 90-day training experience. The Program Manager helps ensure that Warrior PATHH is delivered with excellence, consistency, and compassion while upholding the standards and values of Camp Southern Ground, Boulder Crest Foundation, and Avalon Action Alliance. This is a non-clinical role. Program Managers follow established Warrior PATHH policies and procedures, support participants within the scope of the program, and refer participants to appropriate resources when needs fall outside the scope of Warrior PATHH

Key Areas of Responsibility

Recruitment, Selection, and Enrollment
● Support recruitment efforts to maintain a strong pipeline of qualified applicants.
● Contact, interview, and assess applicants for participation in Warrior PATHH.
● Guide applicants through the enrollment process and ensure timely communication throughout their application journey.
● Maintain accurate participant records and ensure timely completion of required documentation and data entry.
● Coordinate participant communications, travel arrangements, and program logistics.
● Work collaboratively with the Warrior PATHH team to ensure programs are fully enrolled and operationally prepared.

Program Delivery
● Serve as a Warrior PATHH Guide and Team Leader as assigned.
● Deliver Warrior PATHH curriculum and activities in accordance with Boulder Crest Foundation program standards.
● Maintain required Warrior PATHH Guide training standards and proficiency in curriculum delivery and experiential activities.
● Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
● Support the development and success of fellow PATHH Guides through collaboration, feedback, and shared accountability.
● Model the principles of Struggle Well and Posttraumatic Growth in interactions with participants and team members.

Participant Engagement and Outcomes
● Maintain ongoing relationships with participants throughout the Warrior PATHH experience.
● Facilitate virtual follow-up calls and participant engagement activities during the 90-day training period.
● Monitor participant progress and provide support that encourages program completion and continued engagement.
● Ensure timely collection of participant surveys and other required program data.
● Review participant feedback and program outcomes to support continuous improvement efforts.
● Assist with program reporting, documentation, and outcome tracking as requested.

Team Collaboration and Organizational Support
● Participate in team meetings, planning sessions, and program reviews.
● Contribute to a culture of professionalism, accountability, and teamwork.
● Communicate openly and proactively with team members regarding participant needs, program operations, and workload.
● Support special projects, recruitment events, and other Warrior PATHH initiatives as assigned.
● Represent Camp Southern Ground and Warrior PATHH in a professional and mission-aligned manner.

Requirements and Qualifications
● Must be a veteran, veteran-connected individual, or first responder.
● Experience with Posttraumatic Growth, Warrior PATHH, Struggle Well, trauma-informed programming, peer support, coaching, or other growth-oriented approaches is preferred.
● Candidates who have not previously completed Warrior PATHH must be eligible for and accepted into the Warrior PATHH program as a condition of employment.
● High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in social services, counseling, education, psychology, leadership, or related fields preferred.
● Experience in peer support, facilitation, leadership, education, military service, first responder service, or related helping professions preferred.
● Strong communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
● Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn, troubleshoot, and effectively utilize software, AI tools, databases, CRM systems, and business applications.
● Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Camp Southern Ground driving requirements required.
● Must successfully pass a background check in accordance with Camp Southern Ground policies.

Physical Demands
While performing the essential functions of this role, employees may be required to hike, stand for extended periods, facilitate outdoor activities in varying weather conditions, and lift or move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Employees must be able to walk on uneven terrain and participate in Warrior PATHH activities as needed. Work Environment and Schedule
● This position is based at Camp Southern Ground in Fayetteville, Georgia, and requires regular on-site participation.
● Program Managers are assigned specific Warrior PATHH programs and are required to remain on-site for the duration of those assigned programs, including overnight and multi-day responsibilities.
● Program Managers support on-site program preparation, staff training, participant arrivals, participant departures, lodge closeouts, and supply resets for Warrior PATHH programs as scheduled by the PATHH Program Director.
● Hybrid work arrangements may be available outside of scheduled program delivery and on-site support periods with approval from the PATHH Program Director.
● Evening, weekend, overnight, and occasional travel requirements should be expected.
● May support recruitment events, partner engagements, and other Camp Southern Ground initiatives throughout the year.

Food Service Utility Worker (FSUW)

Job Description

A Food Service Utility Worker (FSUW) assists with a variety of tasks. Qualifications for a FSUW vary, but this is typically an entry-level position. A FSUW’s primary objective is dishwashing and service, but overall responsibilities extend to both Front of House and Back of House duties. While FSUW’s do not typically cook food, common job duties include brewing coffee and tea, general food and snack preparation, and transporting things to and from storage. An experienced FSUW may also do some advanced assisting with meal preparation, including utilization of knife skills and operating equipment like blenders, mixers, ovens, and grills.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain a commercial dish washing machine
  • Properly clean, organize, and store all dishes involved with foodservice
  • Ensure the event space is clean and properly reset for each meal
  • Communicate and coordinate with shift leads to ensure service is flowing
  • Assisting in the kitchen with general food preparation
  • Taking out the trash
  • Composting
  • Maintain a “hands-on” & “can do” attitude at every shift

Qualifications

  • Great work ethic, dependability/punctuality and teamwork mentality
  • Flexible availability. Able to work mornings, evenings, and weekends. Negotiable.

GROUNDS TECHNICIAN

Job Description

This is a full-time position with medical, dental, paid PTO, and 401K benefits. This position will assist with all aspects of landscaping and grounds maintenance for our large campus. Hourly rate negotiable based on experience.

  • Edging
  • Weed control
  • Mulching
  • Trimming and pruning shrubs
  • Blowing off roads, parking lots, and walkways
  • Pressure washing
  • Equipment maintenance and cleaning
  • Must operate landscaping equipment safely and effectively
  • Involves outdoor work in all weather conditions, especially heat and sun
  • Support Camp program and event functions as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to meet physical requirements including heavy lifting, bending, prolonged outdoor activities
  • Clean background check required
  • Strong team player with initiative and ability to work independently.
