Ashley David

Ashley joined Camp Southern Ground in October 2024 as Development Manager. With over a decade of experience in nonprofit development and events, she previously worked at Skyland Trail, an Atlanta-based nonprofit focused on holistic mental health treatment. In her role there, she was responsible for leading fundraising efforts and organizing event initiatives, while also cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with individual and corporate sponsors. Before transitioning to the nonprofit sector, Ashley gained experience in business development for law firms in both Washington, D.C. and Atlanta. She played a key role in managing client relationships, coordinating seminars and speaking engagements, and organizing community outreach programs and high-profile client events.

Originally from south central Kentucky, Ashley graduated from Hollins University in Roanoke, VA. After living in Atlanta for over two decades, she now resides in Fayetteville, GA with her husband and two sons. Ashley loves outdoor activities and completed a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail with her husband in 2018.
