Memorial Tournament Supports Camp Southern Ground and Veterans

Camp Southern Ground is honored to celebrate the success of the 2025 1LT Austin Shilling Memorial Golf Tournament, held on August 16. Last week, the organization was honored to be presented with the proceeds, which will help further its mission of empowering veterans and supporting their transition to civilian life.

This year’s tournament welcomed the highest participation since its inception in 2017, highlighting the dedication, generosity, and spirit of all involved. Created to honor the legacy of 1LT Austin Shilling, the event raises funds for future U.S. Army leaders through scholarships, provides critical support to employees in need, and, for the third consecutive year, benefits Camp Southern Ground. Contributions to the camp help support Warrior PATHH, a program that facilitates post-traumatic growth for combat veterans at no cost, fostering purpose, connection, and community.
