Savannah’s Got Talent Shines Bright for Camp Southern Ground
Nov 21, 2024
What a night! On Monday, November 18th, The Historic Savannah Theatre came alive with incredible performances during the inaugural Savannah’s Got Talent competition, hosted by Perry Lane Hotel, a Sage Hospitality property. This creative and entertaining evening wasn’t just about showcasing talent—it was a grassroots fundraiser dedicated to making a difference, with all proceeds benefiting Camp Southern Ground.
The evening began with an informational meet-and-greet and a silent auction, setting the stage for what would be an unforgettable night. A total of 12 talented acts graced the stage, carefully selected after two rounds of auditions to ensure a lineup that truly dazzled.
The event was the brainchild of Elise Yarrison, inspired by the incredible experiences her two children had at Camp Southern Ground. After her son declared, “This was the best week of my life! It’s the best thing I ever did,” Elise felt compelled to give back. She reached out with this amazing idea for a fundraiser, rallying her community to support a cause close to her heart.
We’re so grateful to everyone who performed, bought a ticket, bid in the auction, volunteered their time to judge, or donated. Savannah showed out in a big way—building new relationships, celebrating remarkable talent, and proving the power of community. If you weren’t able to attend but still want to support Camp Southern Ground, we invite you to make a gift today.
Thank you, Savannah’s Got Talent, for supporting our mission. We can’t wait to see what next year brings!
