Zac Brown Receives Lifetime Impact Award

We are proud to share that our founder, GRAMMY award-winning artist Zac Brown, has been named the recipient of The Warrior Alliance 2025 Lifetime Impact Award. This incredible honor recognizes Zac’s lifelong commitment to supporting our nation’s veterans, active duty service members, and their families.

Zac has always believed that it is our obligation to care for those who protect our freedom. Guided by that belief—and a deep desire to put more good into the world—he purchased 400 acres of farmland in Fayetteville, Georgia and built Camp Southern Ground, a world-class facility dedicated to serving both youth and veterans.

At Camp Southern Ground, we are honored to carry out this mission alongside him. Through our veteran programs, Warrior Week, Warrior PATHH, and Warrior Family Camp, veterans and their families find purpose, support, and connection as they navigate life after military service.

During The Warrior Alliance’s annual awards ceremony, this tribute video was played highlighting Zac’s impact and his unwavering commitment to those who’ve served. Following the video, our CEO Mike Dobbs took the stage to accept the award on Zac’s behalf.
