STORIES OF IMPACT

Todd Moore

Todd is a Warrior Week and Warrior PATHH alum who joined the military at 18. This is his story.

“Be better today than you were yesterday, and be better tomorrow than you are today.” – Lorenzo Snow
I lean heavily on this quote. To me, this is the definition of success.

I grew up in Bannister, Michigan, a small town in central Michigan, and joined the U.S. Air Force at the age of 18, right out of high school. I served from 1974-1989, just over 15 years and have been in a paramedic in emergency service for 30+ years since then.

In service, I started as a helicopter mechanic and was later retrained to do air traffic control. I also spent four years as an instructor.

Transitioning out of the service did not go well. I missed the structure and brotherhood. I am doing ok now. Warrior Week and Warrior PATHH gave me direction, meaning, and reason.

Help us make a difference in the lives of more veterans like Todd.
