Tiered Pricing Difference
At Camp Southern Ground we are proud of our mission and the goals we set for ourselves to make camp amazing. To ensure that every child is given the opportunity to experience camp, we are continuing our tiered pricing program for the 2024 camp season.
Thanks to the actions of some very generous supporters, we’re able to offer camp at a reduced cost to any family that wants their camper to have an amazing summer of growth and fun. You decide what your family can afford.
We have Something for everyone
Tier I
This tier most closely accounts for the true costs of camp including staff, food, facilities, construction, and the cost of program.
Tier II
This tier is slightly subsidized for families who can afford most of the cost of camp. A written statement of need is required.
Tiers III & IV
Tiers 3 and 4 are significantly subsidized. To access these tiers, applicants must submit a written statement of need along with a tax return from the previous year.
How Does
A Family
Sign Up?
To enroll, all families must complete a camper application, on which you will indicate what level of tuition your family can afford. If you select Tier 1, you will pay the initial deposit and then simply pay the balance by May 1. If Tier 2, 3, or 4 is selected, some further information is required and we will work with you on getting it submitted. We encourage families to transparently disclose their financial situation to ensure that the funds can benefit as many campers as possible. Monthly payment options are also available.
